I'm planning on doing some badges at Portcon Maine, so I wanted to do some badge samples: one Human, one Anthro, one Animal. In watercolor. I used the characters of some friends to do these samples. So, they aren't my characters!
I'm paying homage to a couple of my favorite artists who totally don't know me, *koalakitty23 and *makani, and a friend from college, ~Starrythursday (Thursday.) We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Makani's work is all really fun and goofy, I just tried to capture some of her mischieviousness.
Thursday is a really cool design. I'm not all that into anthro, but I really appreciate her design.
