Whoops, guess it's been a while, huh?  I'll be uploading some of last year's art soon.  I've been spending most of my time on tumblr lately. (I'm here: )

My webcomic is still going strong; it just hit its 1 year anniversary, and over 200 pages posted!  Totally sweet.  I've watched myself come a long way and have mad lots of great friends and fans.

As for 2013 conventions, I will be at:
:bulletyellow: Ohayocon- Columbus, OH, January 18-20
:bulletyellow: MeCAF- Portland, ME, May 19
:bulletyellow: Anime Boston- Boston, MA, May 24-26
:bulletyellow: GaymerX (form. Gaymercon) San Francisco, CA, August 3-4

Pending Conventions include AnimeNext and Otakon.

It's funny seeing all my old Sailor Moon watercolors get waves of exposure and +favs every month!  Thanks for all the support.  I should do some Sailor Moon fanart to celebrate the new anime and stuff.

2012-2013 Conventions: Where should I go?

Journal Entry: Sun Apr 15, 2012, 7:08 PM

I'm looking through lists and lists of Comic and Animé conventions, trying to map out my next year of exhibiting.  I would love to hit my usual spots on the east coast (ME-PA), but also on the west coast (CA, WA), the south (TX) and some northern spots (Canada.)  Everything in the middle is fair game too.

Some stops I'm considering:

East Coast:
Southern Maryland Comic Con, Waldorf, MD, July 2012
CampAnime, Woodstock Valley, CT, September 2012
Baltimore Comic Con, Baltimore, MD, September 2012
Another Anime Con, Nashua, NH, October 2012
New England Webcomics Weekend, Eashampton, MA, November 2012

West Coast:
Kumoricon, Vancouver, WA, September 2012
Alternative Press Expo, San Francisco, CA, October 2012
BENTCON, Los Angeles, CA, November, 2012

I don't know about much between the coasts.  So please tell me what I need to hit, even for next year!

Any recommendations?  What conventions would you like to see me exhibit at?  Which ones do you go to, which ones do you like?  Tell me where you go!!!

Anime Boston Report, ROFLcon next!

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 11, 2012, 7:23 AM

Woo!  What a ride!  Anime Boston was amazing, as always!  Met some fans, sold some comics, and reveled in all the Tiger & Bunny, No.6, Sailor Moon, and Revolutionary Girl Utena love that I seem to represent.  That's some A+ taste you kids have.  Muah.

jsheaisaninja and I had a rad time, spent most of our time sitting at our tables in the Arist Alley.  But when I did get to escape (besides that quick jaunt to the dealers room to secure me some kevinbolk swag and, I kid you not, an actual animation cel from the Nick cartoon Doug [be still my heart]) I was poking around the rest of the alley as best I could.

sakkysa was kind enough to stop by and buy an original off of me, though I repeatedly failed to make contact with her for the rest of the con until we were both exhaustedly packed up and heading home.  I managed to score three of the masterpieces on this beautiful catalogue from the wildly talented Yutaan.  Had some excellent chatty-chats and secured a sketch commission from the super-cool tacofiesta.  Saw the ever-precious jiggly, promised to buy a copy of the new Paul Reveres book and proceeded to forget (oh God forgive me forgive me I'll get one at MECAF I swear!)  Oh, oh!  And then I saw JD, one half of ScuttlebuttInk and that rocked like 900 of my socks because OMG MSF! I'm making connections with other webcomic artists, see, WATCH ME BE A PROFESSIONAL.  I also hassled strawberrygina, but alas, she is super cool and will not remember me.

IconRoll! In order of appearance:

:iconjsheaisaninja: :iconkevinbolk: :iconsakkysa: :iconyutaan: :icontacofiesta: :iconjiggly: :iconscuttlebuttink: :iconstrawberrygina:

And I bought Utena, Yugi, and Barnaby off of this sweet deal right here:
Boston - February by Yutaan

Soooooo awesome.

Anyway, what's next?  I finally get a  little breather, and then I am off to  ROFLcon at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts!  I wont be exhibiting, but I will be speaking on a panel about Fangirl Culture.  I'll post more details about that soon.  I will also have copies of PoC available for purchase in some informal capacity.  More on that later, too.  This is going to be a wild con- have you seen the guest list? Chuck freaking Testa will be there, along with the Vegan Black Metal Chef and the lovely lady from My Drink Kitchen.  And the Double Rainbow Guy!! WOW!

Thanks for a lovely weekend, to everyone who I saw, annoyed, bought from, sold to, geeked out with, and facilitated my being there.

That's 44 pages of comic, on sale for $6.50 an issue! (Or if you just want the PDF, $2.50!)

PLUS, if you buy the physical version, she comes with an exclusive print: a 4 x 6 color print of "the photo inside of Lee's locker."  This watercolored artwork has not been and will not be released digitally anywhere online.  The only way to see it in all of its ridiculously cute 12-year-old-Frank-and-Lee-picking-pumpkins glory is to buy a physical copy, whether at a convention, or via the internets!

But wait!  There's more!

Chapter 1, part 1 concludes on Friday, April 6th.  If you buy it within the next week, you will get to see a whole two week's worth of unreleased strips, and the high-tension conclusion of the arc, a whole two weeks early!

Oh, are you not particularly invested in owning print comics, but you would like to see the bonus content?  No problem!  Go ahead and buy the PDF version only!  It includes everything the physical one does (except for that little extra art print.  Sorry!)

More info, samples, and how to order!

PS, you can also catch me at my next two upcoming cons to snag a copy!
